Most teen cases run six to eighteen months. Wear time, case complexity and growth all move that number.

Typical treatment ranges

Simple alignment of the front teeth can finish in six to nine months. Full-arch treatment with bite correction usually takes twelve to eighteen months, with aligners changed every seven to fourteen days.

What lengthens treatment

Wearing aligners less than twenty-two hours a day is the single biggest cause of delay. Lost aligners, unerupted teeth and mid-treatment refinements also add weeks.

Keeping the plan on track

We plan check-ups every six to ten weeks, use wear indicators, and build habits such as always storing aligners in their case at meals. Teenagers who follow the schedule usually finish on or ahead of the projected date.
